Tucson bank robber known to bank employees

Tucson police were advised of a bank robbery at the Hughes Federal Credit Union located at 280 North Pantano Road on the afternoon of April 23. The suspect had left prior to police arrival. She was last seen leaving the bank on foot in a southbound direction.

Detectives learned that a female entered the bank and presented a note to the victim teller, demanding money and threatening harm.

After being given an undisclosed amount of money, the female left the bank. Some of the other employees in the bank recognized the female and were able to provide police personnel with her name and address. Officers were able to conduct follow up and locate the female at her residence, which was nearby. The female was identified as 26-year old Stephanie Connor. She was arrested, transported, and booked into the Pima County Jail for 1 count of Robbery, a felony.
