A man, who barricaded himself in the Scottsman Hotel at 3526 E. Benson Highway at about 1:00 p.m. yesterday, has surrendered to police. Police took the man into custody shortly after 5:00 p.m.
The man was reported to be suicidal. Police suspect the man in a robbery on Tuesday of the Pyramid Credit Union.
According to various sources, 4 SWAT teams were on the scene.
