Authorities say the agents reported coming upon two armed men. One of the agents fired his service weapon hitting one of the men. Agents found a handgun and assault rifle at the scene.
The injured suspected bandit was airlifted to a Phoenix area hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition. The uninjured man is an illegal alien from Mexico. He was arrested.
