Customs and Border Protection officers referred Ricardo A. Martinez, for an inspection of his Lexus sedan when he attempted to enter the United States. After a CBP narcotics detection canine alerted to the presence of drugs, officers located a hidden compartment underneath the engine which contained ten packages of meth.
The drugs and vehicle were seized. Martinez was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
