Club Turbulence employee arrested for dealing narcotics

In January 2013, information was received of employees at Club Turbulence dealing narcotics from inside the club. On April 11, 2013, a search warrant was served at the club with after an investigation by the Counter Narcotics Alliance and Tucson Police Department’s Special Investigation Division.

An employee of the club, 36-year old Brian Tyra, was arrested and booked into Pima County Jail for 3 counts of Unlawful Possession of a Narcotic Drug for Sale.

Club Turbulence is a strip club located just north of the Tucson International Airport.

In March, TPD responded to an early morning shooting that occurred at the club, after several people called 9-1-1. A fight started between several individuals before someone fire a gun.

A victim in the shooting was found in a vehicle a few miles away, near Old Nogales Highway and Valenica Road. he was transported to a hospital with life threatening injuries.
