On May 1, at 3:50 a.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired at the 24-hour Walmart located at 3925 East Grant Road. Upon arrival, officers located Mr. Lomax inside the front doorway of the Walmart suffering from gunshot trauma. Mr. Lomax was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives from the Gang Investigations Unit responded as information was received that one of the parties involved may have gang affiliations. Detectives determined that Mr. Lomax was involved in an altercation with several individuals near the front entrance to the Walmart. At least one of those individuals fired shots at the victim striking him multiple times.
Davis is an African-American male, 6’00” tall, 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has numerous tattoos on his neck and arms. Anyone with information is urged to contact 911 or 88-CRIME.
