On June 20, 2013, shortly after 11:30 p.m., Pima County deputies responded to the 3100 block of East Benson Highway reference a shooting call. When deputies arrived they found a Hispanic male had been shot and paramedics were requested.
The man was transported to University of Arizona Medical Center with life threatening injuries.
Detectives interviewed several witnesses, but were unable to give substantial information that would help in identifying the possible shooter. Detectives are currently looking for assistance from the public and urge anyone with information about this case to call 88-crime or 9-1-1.
