When Jordan Walker failed to stop at a red light at 64th Street and crash into the side door of Phyllis Fox’s vehicle, he was driving on a suspended license. The collision caused the death of 95-year-old Morrison Fox.
Walker, age 29, was traveling west on Camelback Road Wednesday afternoon according to the Scottsdale Police Department. He was driving his Lexus sedan with the suspended license and warrants related to several Mesa traffic violations out of Mesa.
Walker was arrested for his outstanding warrants and turned over to the Mesa Police Department and cited in connection with the death of Morrison.
According to authorities, neither alcoholic impairment nor speed is considered to be contributing factors in the collision.
