Help needed to locate missing Pima County man

On August 12, 2013 at approximately 5:15 p.m., Pima County deputies were called to the 5300 block of S. Sunset Boulevard reference a missing person. The family of 22-year-old Adrian Islas advised deputies that around 5:00 p.m., Adrian walked out of the house upset and didn’t say where he was going.

The family started searching for him immediately, but they were unable to locate him, and called 9-1-1.

The family also explained that Adrian has the mental capacity of a 12-year-old in addition to medical conditions that require medication. Adrian is described as a Hispanic male, 5’00 tall, 100 lbs., with short black hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a navy blue polo shirt, navy blue pants, and black shoes.

The Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s assistance in helping to locate Adrian and are urged to call 9-1-1 immediately if he is spotted or located.
