Tucson man arrested for Sexual Exploitation of a Minor

On August 15, 2013, the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit received an anonymous tip that child pornography was being possessed by an individual at a residence in the 3000 block of East 17th Street. Tucson Police Department detectives located evidence that confirmed the anonymous tip.

TPD detectives, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service, served a search warrant at the residence. During the service of the search warrant, detectives located hundreds of images and videos depicting children involved in sexual acts.

Detectives determined that 58-year old Michael Linnertz was responsible for downloading their images and videos.

He was arrested and booked into the Pima County Jail for 10 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
