The Pinal County Sheriff’s Citizens on Patrol (COP) is comprised of citizen volunteers serving as the “eyes and ears” of our communities. Citizens on Patrol volunteers are provided with training by AZ Post Certified Deputies, fully equipped patrol vehicles, office space and meeting facilities. Uniforms and equipment are provided through funds donated to the COP Program. Recently, they hit the $1,000,000.00 mark in wage equivalency savings under Sheriff Paul Babeu keeping communities safe by creating a visual deterrent to crime in various neighborhoods.
The show will feature up to 200 cars from classics and customs to street rods and muscle cars. There will be 14 trophy classes from antiques (pre-1932) to modern day vehicles including special trophies for works in progress, specialty transportation, and the special Sheriff’s Choice Award. The entry fee for vehicles is only $25 and includes a free dash plaque and T-Shirt to the first 100 entries.
Admission is free to the public, and everyone is welcome. Business and food vendors will be on hand along with raffle prizes, DJ and music, and plenty of free parking.
Trophy sponsorships and vendor booths are available for local businesses for a nominal fee which is tax deductable. Donations or in-kind contributions for raffle prizes are greatly appreciated as well.
