The MH-60S are coming from the Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 23 out of Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, Calif.
The MH-60S crews will be participating in joint training with A-10 Thunderbolt squadrons and Combat Search and Rescue units here. The training scenarios will take place in southern Arizona’s many outstanding military training ranges and will give the units a chance to test their skills and strengthen joint operations between the military services. The MH-60S are slated to train here until Sept. 20.
