Student Everyday Art of Arizona winners named

The student winners of the Everyday Art of Arizona visual arts competition were honored at an awards ceremony held at the Arizona Department of Education’s offices located at 3300 N. Central Avenue in Phoenix. The Everyday Art of Arizona competition is a celebration of art and artistry found throughout Arizona.

Students were asked to identify art in the world around them – from the design of a flip flop to the soaring red rocks of Sedona. Students were invited to celebrate the everyday art found in their Arizona community with their artwork entry. More than 120 student artworks are now on display in the Arizona Department of Education buildings located in Flagstaff, Phoenix and Tucson throughout the year.
