All 397 national parks in the U.S. will offer free admission to commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Here is a map and list of Arizona’s National Parks.

Theme: “Many Faces, One Community.” The parade will begin at the Mesa Arts Center. 11 a.m.

The Mesa MLK Festival begins immediately after the parade. Community celebration including music, dance, food.

• MLK Basketball Classic
Grand Canyon University, Phoenix
High school boys and girls teams compete.

Keynote Speaker will be Dr. Matthew Whitaker, ASU Foundation Professor of History and the founding director of the Center for the Study of Race and Democracy. 9 a.m.
Tucson
• Annual Martin Luther King Jr. March and Festival
8:30 a.m Monday, at the University of Arizona Mall. The march will end at Reid Park.
The festival will begin after the march at the Reid Park’s DeMeester Outdoor Performing Center from 10am to 4pm.
