Pima County house cleaner cleans out jewelry

On January 22, 2014, at approximately 10.00 p.m., Pima County deputies in Catalina responded to a theft in the 14500 block of N. Swan Road. When deputies arrived, they learned the suspect was an employee of a housecleaning company that cleans homes in Catalina, Saddle Brook, and Rancho Vistoso.

The female employee took several items of jewelry and pawned them at local pawn shops. The Sheriff’s Department Burglary Unit took over the investigation and learned the suspect has pawned numerous items while working for the cleaning company.

Burglary detectives are still investigating this case and are trying to locate the owners of some the items of pawned by the suspect. See photo. Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to call 9-1-1 or 88 CRIME.
