Public assistance needed to identify Circle K strong arm robbers

On January 7, 2014, at approximately 11:10 p.m., Pima County deputies responded to the Circle K, located at 3102 E. Benson Highway, reference a strong arm robbery.

When deputies arrived, they learned two suspects entered the store and one concealed liquor in his clothing. When the security guard confronted the first suspect, the second suspect came up to the security guard and pushed him. Both suspects left the store and fled in an unknown direction. The security guard was not injured.

One suspect is described as:

• Caucasian or light skinned Hispanic male

• Average build

• Approximately 20-years-old

• With a thin goatee

• Wearing a black jacket, black shirt, black pants, and a black and white baseball hat

The other suspect is described as:

• Caucasian or Hispanic male

• Heavy build

• Approximately 20-years-old

• Wearing a red jacket with white trim, black athletic shorts with red trim, a red t-shirt, black shoes, and a black baseball hat

The Sheriff’s Department Robbery/Assault Unit is currently trying to identify the suspects involved in this robbery. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to call 88-CRIME or 9-1-1.
