Pima Sheriff seeking public’s help locating 83-year-old man

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is trying to locate a missing person identified as John Freeman. Mr. Freeman left his home at approximately 11:30 a.m. on February 17, 2014, to go for a walk and has not been seen or heard from since.

Mr. Freeman’s residence is located in the 16,000 block of South Shoshone Trail, which is near Mescal Road and I-10. He is known to walk in the area of E. Tonopah Trail and S. Susquehanna Avenue. Mr. Freeman can be forgetful at times and has a medical condition. He frequently goes on walks on his own, but they usually only last approximately 1 to 1 ½ hours at a time.

Mr. John Freeman is described as:
• 83-year-old Caucasian male
• 5’ 8” tall • 165 pounds
• Grey hair and brown eyes
• Last seen wearing a maroon plaid long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, hiking boots, a beige hat with an “A” on it.

Mr Freeman  was also carrying a walking stick.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of John Freeman is urged to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
