Tucson man arrested for child pornography

In November 2013, the Tucson Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit developed information that a person in the Tucson area was downloading and sharing child pornography on the internet. The investigation led detectives to a residence in the 5700 block of East Burns Street. On March 20, 2014, a search warrant was served at the residence with the assistance of U.S. Marshals.

During the service of the search warrant, detective’s located a computer in the home. The computer contained multiple images of child pornography. Although other family members live in the home, the investigation revealed that 20-year-old Jesus Alberto Villegas was responsible for downloading and sharing the images on several different occasions.

Villegas was booked into the Pima County Jail on 10 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
