Tucson shooting appears to be gang related

On Friday night, March 21, 2014, Tucson Police Department officers responded to reports of shots fired at an apartment complex located at 3666 East 2nd Street. Officers found an adult male in the parking lot of the apartment complex with gunshot trauma.

He was pronounced deceased at the scene. It was determined by officers at the scene that the shooting was gang related.

Gang Detectives responded to continue the investigation. At this time, they are in the early stages of the investigation, and further details will be released when they become available. Anyone with information is urged to contact 911 or 88-CRIME.
