According to police as the game on Thursday ended, fans exited the establishments around the University area and continued their celebration into the streets. Due to the large amount of people, Tucson Police Officers and University of Arizona Police Officers responded to the area to keep the crowd moving safely.
Police say that while the “majority of the fans were celebrating responsibly, however there was one person arrested.”
Andrew Gallardo, age 25, was arrested for disorderly conduct after throwing a beer bottle in the direction of responding officers. Gallardo is a student with the University of Arizona, so in addition to his arrest the Dean of Students was notified of his actions.
