On June 6, 2014, at approximately 12:40 p.m., Pima County deputies responded to a suspicious activity call on Trico Road approximately a half mile south of Avra Valley Road. When deputies arrived, they were directed to a dead body, in stages of decomposition, on the east side of the road.
The Sheriff’s Department Homicide Unit has determined the decedent to be a female. They were unable to determine the identity or ethnicity at the scene. The investigation continues. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
