Fireworks: Yes. Fireworks will start at 8:30 p.m. at the Alpine Rodeo Grounds, 1 mile south of Alpine on County Road 2311.
Events begin at 10 a.m. with a parade and the opening of the Alpine Area Artisans Display and Sale on Main Street. The art sale continues on Sunday, July 6.

Admission is $10; $5 for ages 5-12. The first 400 children ages 6-12 accompanied by an adult get in free.
