On Saturday July 5, 2014, members of the Southeastern Arizona DUI Task force (which included the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office, Sierra Vista Police Department, and the Arizona Department of Public Safety to name those who participated in this event) deployed in the Sierra Vista area.

Sheriff Dannels said, “Although this is just one deployment in a specific area, it is telling that we still had contact with seven impaired drivers. We will keep having an increased presence in our county in the form of these details and other additional patrols to keep our citizens safe. Please think first, and don’t drink and drive.
