Florence High teacher named as “Outstanding First Year Agriculture Teacher”

The Florence Unified School District is proud to announce Angelica Rudow, Agriculture Educator at Florence High School, was named the “Outstanding First Year Agricultural Teacher” by the Arizona Agricultural Teachers Association.

In one year, Ms. Rudow has impacted the students at FHS in such a way, the state of Arizona has taken notice. Numerous students from her program placed in the top 10 in a variety of categories at the annual FFA (Future Farmers of America) State Competition. According to District officials, she is a dynamic teacher with incredible energy and passion for her students.

Ms. Rudow is a graduate of the University of Arizona (2013) and began her teaching career at Florence High School last fall.

Dr. Fuller said in a statement released on Friday, “Ms. Rudow is an exemplary teacher who inspires her students to be great. FUSD is truly honored to have teachers like Ms. Rudow in our classrooms and serving our community. She is one example of the great people we have in the Florence Unified School District. Please join me in congratulating her and her students on this great accomplishment.”
