Twenty days after the robbery occurred, detectives with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department’s Robbery/Assault Unit are asking the public to help identify suspects in a Strong Arm Robbery. The incident occurred on August 20th, 2014, at approximately 7:45 PM at the McDonald’s restaurant at 2990 W. Valencia Road.
The two suspects approached the unsuspecting female victim. With a quick move, one of the suspects ripped a gold necklace with a crucifix pendant off her neck. The suspects then fled the scene.
The suspects were described as follows:
1) Hispanic or Caucasian male between 18 and 25 years old, wearing a black shirt and dark shorts. His head was shaved.
2) Caucasian male between 18 and 25 years old, wearing a green hat, a black shirt with writing on it and dark shorts.
Anyone with information on the identity of the two suspects or any other information about this case is urged to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
