Paid for by citizens who know we are screwed: Sunday’s comic

From the Arizona Republic:

The Corporation Commission: ain’t no use for rate payers

The two Republican candidates are the beneficiaries of a remorseless dark-money campaign that is widely believed to be financed largely by Arizona Public Service, the state’s largest utility (see here, here and here). Should either or both of them be elected, they will forever be suspected of doing APS’s bidding. They may get elected. But in terms of credibility, it’s already over for those guys. No use.

So, too, is it over already for Democrat Sandra Kennedy, who is being sued by the IRS for an unpaid $200,000 tax bill? Looks like there’s no use to me.

During a previous term on the Corp Comm, Kennedy and fellow Democrat Paul Newman demonstrated they were there pretty much to strum guitars for an expanded state solar-energy portfolio, and little else. I don’t think they paid a lot of attention to the brain-aching stuff.
