The Tucson Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a serial armed robbery suspect. Detectives believe the same individual is responsible for up to 17 armed robberies. The robberies have taken place at various retail businesses throughout the city, most of which were on the Northwest-side of town.
The last one took place on November 8th, in the area of Oracle and Roger Rd, just after 3:30 p.m. The photo was taken on a Suntran bus approximately 30 minutes after the robbery.
The suspect has been described as an African American male, 25 to 30 years old, 6’0 tall with a thin build. He has a possible tattoo on his inner left forearm. During all of the robberies the suspect has used either a kitchen knife or a hatchet style blade. In the first armed robbery from September 24th, the suspect was seen getting into a blue, 90’s model Toyota Corolla.
