Sunnyside asking public to share input on next superintendent

Sunnyside Unified School District Governing Board members are inviting the public to share their input regarding the next superintendent. To that end, there will be three community forums; two will be held today at 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., in the Sunnyside High School LRC.

Board member Buck Crouch said, “It is vital that the stakeholders in the Sunnyside community help define the profile of the next superintendent of Sunnyside.   The stakeholders include Parents, Voters, Taxpayers, Students, Teachers, Support Staff, and all others that are affected by the quality of education that our students receive.  This is the chance for the public to voice what they want for the future of our students and our community I’m listening, please let me hear your voice.”

Board member Beki Quintero wrote members of the Sunnyside community last week, “I would love to hear community superintendentregarding the superintendent. Come out and give your thoughts and ideas about the attributes and qualities you would like to see in the next superintendent.
