The investigation showed the suspect was taking these photographs of six children between the ages of 2 years to 12 years old and that the children were known him. The suspect was producing the images of child pornography.
Detectives served a search warrant at the suspect’s home, evidence of child pornography and surreptitious photography was recovered, and the suspect admitted to the crimes and was arrested. The children were rescued from the situation and released to the custody of family members.
Anthony Aranda was also discovered to have been surreptitiously photographing children while inside local businesses. These victims have not been identified. The photos indicate, and the suspect admits that the photos were taken without the children’s knowledge.
Aranda was later booked into jail on the listed charges.
