Rodeo Weekend: No Bull Checkpoint

This year the Tucson Rodeo started with a colorful parade as it has for the past 90 years. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is committed to ensure the safety of visitors, participants and residents. Large events like this one can lead to an increase in consumption of alcohol and/or other intoxicants.

Even though you may be under the impression you are still capable operating a motor vehicle, you may in fact not be. Driving yourself and possibly even others while being intoxicated can have deadly consequences.

Be smart about your choices. Remember your choices:

 Get a ride.
 Use a designated driver service.
 Make a plan and stick to it.
 Don’t let others drive impaired.
