The 81 year old female driver of the vehicle and her adult female passenger were not injured. The 51 year old male bicyclist was flown to a Phoenix area hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators have determined the driver of the vehicle was traveling east on 4th Street when she struck the bicyclist who turned in front of the driver. The bicyclist remains is in critical condition at a Phoenix area hospital.
The exact cause of the collision is unknown at this time as Investigators continue to conduct interviews and review evidence.
