Truck lands in Tucson front yard, driver killed

On March 22, 2015, at 8:15 p.m., Tucson Police Department officers responded to a single vehicle collision at 145 N. Country Club Rd along with members from The Tucson Fire Department.  The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Detectives from the Tucson Police Department’s Traffic Unit responded to continue the investigation.  They were able to determine the driver of a 2004 Chevy Silverado was southbound on N. Country Club Rd. approaching E. 10th St. at a high rate of speed. The driver lost control of the vehicle and struck the raised curb on the Westside of the roadway causing the vehicle to rollover.  The vehicle landed in the front yard of 145 N. Country Club Rd.  The investigation to determine if alcohol was a factor in the collision is ongoing.

The driver has been identified as 28-year-old Joseph Two Two. Next of kin have been notified.
