Pima County deputies responded to an area on Craycroft Road just south of Sunrise Drive at approximately 4:13 p.m. on Sunday after a 9-1-1 caller advised of a human body in the wash area. Deputies believe they found the body of Canyon Ranch executive 62-year-old Ann Marie Pardo at the scene.
Detectives discovered a fanny pack possibly belonging to Ms. Pardo on a ledge near the sidewalk on Craycroft Road. The body was located at the bottom of a large retaining wall. A set of keys was found with the body and matched to the residence of Ms. Pardo. Ms. Pardo had been reported missing by her husband on March 31, 2015.
Detectives believe that Ms. Pardo left her home on foot, which is located at the 4500 block of N. Paseo Bocoancos.
It was not possible to determine with certainty if the deceased was in fact Ms. Pardo due to the advanced stage of decomposition. No signs of foul play were observed on scene. Detectives will need to rely on DNA tests and dental records.
