Wellton Border Patrol agents arrested two marijuana smugglers Monday night travelling on an ATV south of Interstate 8, between Wellton and Gila Bend.Border Patrol agents assigned to the Yuma Sector seized 430 pounds of marijuana as well as an all-terran vehicle that smugglers used to transport it into the U.S.
Agents assisted by Office of Air and Marine, Yuma Air Branch, pilots apprehended the duo who had entered the U.S. illegally with 430 pounds of marijuana worth an estimated $215,000.
Both subjects, the ATV and drugs will be processed per Yuma Sector guidelines.
