Celebrate the 4th of July at the Tempe Center for the Arts with a buffet supper, entertainment, free parking and magnificent views of the fireworks over Tempe Town Lake in air-conditioned comfort.
Sponsored by the Friends of TCA, tickets to the 4th of July Spectacular include a traditional supper with grilled chicken, beef franks and all the trimmings, potato salad, fruit salad, specialty cookies, brownies and beverages.
Entertainment from The Sugar Thieves Trio and vocalist/pianist Jenny Jarnagin takes place during the buffet. The Sugar Thieves, born in a smoky dive bar in Tempe, were named Phoenix Magazine’s band of the year 2014. Their music is a mix of American music with the sounds of New Orleans, Memphis, Chicago and Mississippi.
Jenny Jarnagin describes her musical style as “earthy, sophisticated and very original.” Mixing her small town roots with her extensive classical training, singer/songwriter Jarnagin blends classical, jazz and pop.
The TCArt Shop, featuring unique items from local and regional artists, will be open for the evening.
General admission tickets are $55 and include one drink. VIP tickets, $80, include two drinks and allow access to views from the TCA Rooftop Terrace and the TCA 2nd floor lounge for the fireworks show presented by the Kiwanis Club of Tempe.
