Parade
10 a.m. Saturday, July 4, that begins on Main Street in Eagar and travels to Springerville. Free.

Round Valley Rodeo
1:30 p.m.
The rodeo grounds are at the junction of State Route 260 and U.S. 180/191. $10; $5 for ages 13-17. Kids younger than 12 get in free with an adult.

Rodeo Dances
9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, July 3-4, at the rodeo grounds. Crossfire will perform both nights. Admission is $5. Fireworks are planned for 8:30 p.m. at Springerville Airport.

Tucson

19th Annual “A” Mountain Fireworks Celebration
9:15 p.m. Saturday.
Sponsored by Desert Diamond Casinos and Entertainment, residents may enjoy the fireworks from the Tucson Convention Center’s (TCC) Parking Lot B (off Cushing Street between Granada and Church Avenue) or Parking Lot C (off Granada between Broadway Boulevard and Cushing Street). Parking will be free. There also will be food vendors (burgers, hot dogs, ice cream and refreshments) available from 7-9 p.m. The Sun Link streetcar provides convenient access to the TCC at the Cushing Street stops and runs until 2 a.m. on Saturdays.

Tubac

Tubac is hosting an old fashioned Independence Day Saturday, July 4, from 10 am to 12 noon.

The Tubac Presidio State Historic Park will be the site of an assortment of free games for kids, free hot dogs and watermelon and a “squirt down” courtesy of the Tubac Fire Department. This event is organized by the Tubac Chamber of Commerce and local non profit organizations.
