An update was received Saturday evening that she has been located. . She had gone to a family friend’s home. That family friend drove her home. She is safe and in good health.
On Saturday July 11th, 2015 at approximately 4:55 PM Glendale Police Officers responded to a call of a missing adult female from the area of the 7800 W. Rovey Avenue.
The initial investigation has revealed that the missing woman, 85-year old Yung Kim of Glendale, went out for her typical morning walk around 5:45AM. It is not uncommon for her to be gone until 1:00PM, however she did not return home and family members called police.
Yung suffers from diabetes and requires regular medication. There appears to be no suspicious circumstances or signs of foul play.
Yung was last seen wearing a blue shirt and a gold “energy” necklace. She is approximately 5-feet 2-inches tall and weighs 95 pounds with short brown or black hair and brown eyes (a recent photograph is attached).
