On Saturday July 11, 2015 the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office Special Weapons and Tactics Team served a search warrant on a residence in the 4000 block of Kevin Street in Sierra Vista in relation to an Armed Robbery that occurred south of Sierra Vista on Thursday July 9, 2015.
As a result of this warrant, three Sierra Vista residents were arrested, one of whom is the suspect in the Armed Robbery and the other two who have now been identified as suspects in other area burglaries.
28 year old Daniel Alvarado has been booked on charges of Robbery with a weapon, Theft, and Possession of a Weapon During the commission of a felony. Alvarado remains in custody on a $100,000 bond.
30 year old Martin Wetstein has been booked on charges of being a Prohibited Possessor, Possession of Burglary Tools, and Probation Violation. Wetstein remains in custody on a $40,000 bond.
33 year old Ryan Malley was booked on charges of being a Prohibited Possessor and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Malley was released on his own recognizance Sunday morning.
The investigation is being continued by the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office and local burglary cases are being updated in consideration of evidence items seized in this search warrant.
