Hard to believe, but McCain has accepted millions from the Hard Left to silence Conservatives. In 2002 John McCain followed orders from multi-million-dollar-donor George-Soros, to limit Conservative speech by helping Democrats construct the McCain Feingold Campaign Finance Reform Bill (McCain Feingold) that exempted news media, but limited Conservative, pro-life and Tea Party political speech. McCain then urged the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to rein in “Political Advocacy groups” for speaking outside McCain Feingold’s restrictions. 1 2 4
Soros? Yes. McCain founded the Alexandria, Va. REFORM INSTITUTE to (among other things) camouflage funding from George Soros’s OPEN SOCIETY INSTITUTE. Soros financially backed and prompted the McCain Feingold law after he expressed anger at Republican election wins. Many are convinced Soros succeeded: that the IRS won the 2012 election for Obama using McCain Feingold to target Conservative groups with threats, long delays and unconstitutional, intimidating questions. Then the IRS obstructed justice for years, blaming “rogue” agents in Cincinnati and destroying evidence in IRS Chief, Lois Lerner’s computer. 1 2 3 4
In May 2013, a Treasury Inspector General audit found that, before the 2012 election, the IRS had targeted groups with “Patriot” and “Tea Party” in their names to enforce McCain Feingold. Lois Lerner admitted her IRS had “inappropriately targeted conservatives”. In February, 2014 Dave Camp, Chairman House Ways and Means Committee confirmed 100% of 501(c)(4) groups selected for IRS audit were conservative! But Senators John McCain and Democrat Carl Levin still insisted the IRS was not “…reining in political advocacy groups…”.1 2 4
Now the IRS relies on allies like McCain and Democrats for cover. Over decades IRS’ new Chief, Koskinen has donated nearly $100,000 to Democrats. And 94% of the 150,000 IRS Agents Union donated to Democrats; they also endorsed Obama. IRS ex-Chief, Lerner called Tea Party members “crazies” (sound familiar?) and spewed anti-GOP insults in her emails.1 2 4
After years the Senate Finance Committee released a report denouncing the IRS for “partisanship and incompetence”, using the words, “gross mismanagement” to describe IRS targeting Tea Party groups. Weak words hide a terrible crime. McCain, Levin and Soros urge militant Government Agents to stop Conservatives from voting by using the new police-powers in McCain Feingold. They are destroying our American Democracy. Stop them, stop McCain. 1 2 4
