Sheriff Joe Arpaio says his A 75-year-old convicted sex offender living in Wickenburg was arrested today by detectives from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and booked on ten (10) counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, class 2 felonies.
Gordon Dale Pryor, (DOB 12/4/39) who resides alone at 2501 West Wickenburg Way, was arrested after a computer crimes investigation determined that Pryor has been downloading hundreds images of young boys performing various sex acts on each other. The boys appeared to be under the age of 12.
Pryor is a registered sex offender out of California. He was convicted in 1988 for lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14.
“This former airline mechanic apparently did not learn his lesson in 88 when he had his first conviction & registration as a sex offender” said Sheriff Arpaio
Pryor was cooperative with Sheriff’s detectives during the search warrant, admitting they would find such images in his home, and that he was a registered sex offender. Pryor also admitted that years ago he traveled to Mexico to have sex with underage teen boys.
He was booked into the Sheriff’s 4th Avenue Jail.
