Arrest Made In Golf Links Area Homicide

Tucson Police Department detectives have arrested 18-year-old Trinity Corin Fowble in the death of 27-year-old Nathan Olney that took place on August 21, 2015 at approximately 12:30 p.m. On August 22, 2015 Trinity was located during a traffic stop with the male suspect.

Detectives spoke with both parties involved and then booked Trinity into the Pima County Jail on one count of 2nd Degree Murder.

Charges are pending on the male suspect. Detectives are still looking to speak with other witnesses who were at the scene.

Mr. Olney was found by police in alley on August 21. He had obvious signs of trauma, consistent with stab wounds. Two citizens were rendering aid to him. Officers took over medical treatment in an attempt to stop the bleeding. Tucson Fire responded to continue treatment, but Mr. Olney victim was pronounced deceased onscene shortly after their arrival.

Detectives from the Tucson Police Department’s Homicide Unit and Aggravated Assault Unit responded to the scene to continue the investigation. Detectives learned that the two males rendering aid lived in the area and knew Mr. Olney. They told police that the victim approached them in the alley and advised them he had been stabbed and needed help. The two men called police and then began rendering aid.
