On Monday September 7, 2015 at approximately 4:25am the Tempe Police department was contacted by a clerk working at the Chevron gas station located at Broadway and McClintock. The clerk reported that a young female came into the store saying she had been kidnapped.
The victim, an 18 year old female, reported to police that she was walking home from a party when an unknown male pulled her into a vehicle. The victim was driven to a nearby location and sexually abused, she was able to get away and contact police for assistance.
Tempe Police have located and arrested 28 year old Allen Colbert for kidnapping and sexual abuse. With the assistance of a witness that got the license plate, Colbert was located and identified as the suspect in this investigation.
