The Sierra Vista Police Department arrested a 34-year-old Sierra Vista man on Tuesday, Sept. 29, after receiving a report that he may be having an ongoing sexual relationship with a 17-year-old female from Fort Huachuca.
On Tuesday, at about 4 a.m., Jessie Blair was stopped while entering Fort Huachuca through the Van Deman gate. Fort Huachuca Military Police discovered that Blair was transporting a 17-year-old female who had been reported as a runaway juvenile. Sierra Vista police followed up on this report and discovered that Blair had allegedly been having a sexual relationship with the minor since 2014.
At about 5:40 p.m., detectives from the Sierra Vista Police Department executed a search warrant at Blair’s residence in the 4000 block of Desert Springs Trail. Blair was arrested at his home without incident.
Blair is being charged with sexual conduct with a minor, aggravated luring of minor, and sexual exploitation of a minor. The investigation continues as evidence seized during the search is analyzed. Additional charges may be filed at a later date.
Blair is currently being held in the Cochise County Jail on a $45,000 bond.
