Three Tucson residents have been appointed to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors for Vantage West, southern Arizona’s largest credit union. Paul Melendez was appointed as a director, while Gregory Good and Mitch Pisik were appointed as associate directors.
Melendez, Good and Pisik will work alongside Chairman Matt Matthewson, Vice-Chairman Gene Santarelli, Treasurer Gary W. Smith, Secretary John Driskill and Directors Gloria Gonzalez and Ana Archer. The board, comprised of unpaid, elected volunteer professionals, helps to set the strategic direction of the credit union and support efforts to ensure that Vantage West maintains an excellent financial standing.
Melendez, who holds a doctorate from the University of Arizona, serves as Assistant Dean for Executive Education at the UA Eller College of Management. He is the founder of the Center for Leadership Ethics and serves as a Professor of Practice in Management and Organizations. He is a Tucson native.
Good, principal at Good Law P.C., serves clients in business and real estate, offers legal advice and handles estate planning matters, and specializes in environmental law. Good has been recognized as one of the top attorneys in the state by Arizona’s Finest Lawyers, and served as Chair for the Pima Community College Foundation for 10 years.
Pisik serves as CEO of TM International, headquartered in Tucson. TM International is one of Tucson’s largest manufacturers and sells a variety of trademarked and licensed products to 65,000 retail stores in 84 countries. Pisik is an active member on several boards, and is a finalist for 2015 Business Leader of the Year for Southern Arizona.
