Pima County Emergency Exit Robbers Sought

Pima County Sheriff detectives are asking the public for help in identifying the suspects in a grocery store robbery. The crime occurred on November 26, 2015 at approximately 1:00 p.m. in the Albertsons located at 5085 North La Canada Drive and involved at least 2 suspects.

A man and woman entered the Albertsons through the front doors and loaded a cart with liquor, laundry detergents, and other items. The couple split up and the man exited through the front doors. The woman carted the stolen items through an emergency exit in the back of the store.

An Albertsons’ employee followed the woman out the emergency exit and found both suspects loading the stolen items into a green, GMC Jimmy Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV). As the employee confronted the suspects the man reached for his waistband, implying that he had a gun, and asked the employee if it was worth it.

The first suspect is described as:
– A Hispanic male in his mid-20’s
– Last seen wearing a red hat, black sweatshirt and red shorts

The second suspect is described as:
– A Hispanic female in her mid-20’s
– Last seen wearing a dark colored shirt and jeans
