Carlos Mercado and Ashley Gortariz are the proud parents of Arizona’s first baby born in 2016. The baby, Amy Mercado, was born at Banner University Medical Center at 12:01 a.m.

Amy is the couple’s second daughter. Amy weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces.
