On Saturday, January 23, 2016, at around 1:45pm, the Glendale Police Department responded to shooting in the area of 5800 W. Camelback Road. Upon arrival, officers did locate a single adult victim who had sustained a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital and his injury was non-life threatening.
A fight was taking place in the parking lot on the north side of Camelback Road between two groups of males. During the fight, a white 4-door Volvo sedan drove past (see attached photos). An occupant inside of that vehicle opened fire on the group, striking the victim once. Neither the vehicle nor its occupants have been identified.
