Apache Junction Boy Scout Troop 39 Awarded $2K Check

Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu presented a $2k check from seized money to Boy Scout Troop 39 of Apache Junction who always support the annual Peace Officer Memorial, by lining the procession and honoring the lives and surviving family of the 36 fallen officers in Pinal County.

Sheriff Paul commended the Scouts for their support, community involvement and for honoring our fallen Law Enforcement heroes. They surprised Sheriff Paul with a presentation of a Scout shadow box and formal letter of appreciation.

Troop 39 sent 10 youth to National Youth Leadership Training and plan to send another 11 this year.
