Prescott Valley Police Seek Home Invasion Suspect

Detectives from the Prescott Valley Police Department (PVPD) and the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the whereabouts of 21-year-old Paul Green from Chino/Prescott Valley as a suspect in 2 Home Invasion incidents.
On March 10, 2016, around 10:00 p.m., PVPD officers were dispatched to the 3700 block of North Etheridge Drive, Prescott Valley, regarding home invasion that just occurred.

A male resident reported awaking to the sound of several males forcing their way through the front door and into his home. 3 of the suspects escorted him into the kitchen while 2 or 3 others waited in the living room with his roommate. The victim also indicated that more suspects waited outside. In the kitchen, one of the suspects held a baseball bat up to his face and said, “No one does this to Paul Green.” The suspect was apparently referring to several visible facial injuries recently sustained as fresh blood was still visible around his mouth.

During the ordeal, suspect Green and others appeared upset about being assaulted and a certain person owing them money. About 5 minutes later, one of the suspects shouted that the police were coming and all suspects quickly left the area in several vehicles, one of which was described only as a dark colored SUV.

Follow-up by PVPD detectives confirmed suspect Green was the person who directly threatened the victim. Neither the victim nor his roommate was specifically aware of the issues causing Green’s behavior.

At approximately 10:20 p.m. the same night, YCSO deputies were dispatched to the 3100 block of Starlight Drive in the county area of Prescott Valley regarding a home invasion just occurred. Residents at the location told deputies 5 or 6 suspects tried to force their way through the front door. Deputies saw broken windows and a damaged front door frame. The suspects were not able to enter the home but one of the residents was able to identify suspect Green.

The suspects were able to flee before deputies arrived.

A search of the area for the suspects by both agencies was unsuccessful.

The investigation indicates that Green is targeting a certain individual he claims owes him money who he thought would be at one of the homes – further details are being sought. In the meantime, detectives are requesting help from the public in locating suspect Green and others involved in these 2 incidents. Anyone with information is urged to call Yavapai Silent Witness at 1800-932-3232, YCSO Detective Mark Yates at 928-777-7273 or the Prescott Valley Police Department at 928-772-9261.
