Early Saturday morning, 42-year-old Octavio Acosta turned himself in at the Port of Entry in Douglas, Arizona. He is a suspect in a series of bomb hoaxes perpetrated in the Tucson area over the last two weeks.
The locations of the hoaxes included health centers, churches, schools and government buildings. In some of these instances, the buildings were evacuated and business or classes were disrupted for several hours.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be added at a later date.
